This is the year of UK-China cultural exchange and AI-EQUAL are honoured to present a collaboration between Chinese National Art and Western Classical music. A Gala banquet organised and hosted by AI-EQUAL, Rayli Media&Publication and the London Phiharmonia Orchestra was held at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center as part of the 10th Anniversary celebrations of the venue.
The Philharmonia Orchestra is one of the world’s great orchestras, established in 1945 under the European titans of conducting including Furtwangler, Richard Strauss, Karajan, Gilini and Klemperer. They hold a long-established relationship with China, having made numerous successful return concert tours since their debut in December 2006.
The Philharmonia Orchestra chooses AI-EQUAL as its sponsor as they both share a common commitment of spreading the traditions of Chinese and British Cultures, facilitating traditional craftsmanship exchange and protecting intangible cultural heritage. The founders of AI_EQUAL hold a string passion for both Chinese and British cultures. They aim to explore both markets for traditional craftsmen of the two countries and to build an equal, open and diversified platform, which will not only bring economic and cultural exchange of their intangible cultural heritage, rather create opportunities for young people to understand the essence of cultural heritage, as well as arouse more awareness of protecting traditional culture.
